Life story
At 7 feet tall, Shaun Marshall Waples was known as a gentle giant. He is sorely missed by all of his family and friends. Raised in Penllyn, Shaun was a graduate of Wissahickon Senior High School and Widner University. With a talent for cooking and the skills as a basketball star, Shaun was a living, breathing example of black excellence. He always had a witty joke to make someone smile, or a tough lesson to teach. He was a very fine human being and the world is a lesser place without him.
