Life story

Frank J. Fano Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank J. Fano. Frank grew up in the Massillon/Canton area, moved to Cadiz, Ohio for several years, and then back to Massillon after his retirement. He worked at Central States Canary for several years, and then at Harrison County Govt center prior to retiring. During his career, he was promoted into supervisory roles. His leadership skills, as well as his hard work are two important values he left with his family. He also taught us the importance of love, values, and to be a family. Frank enjoyed life, whether it be telling jokes, gardening, or watching hummingbirds, but his most enjoyment was being a grandfather. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Margaret Fano and brother Ronald J. Fano. He leaves behind his wife Linda Fano, daughter Angela (Jeff) Rodgers; grandson William Rodgers; stepchildren Sandy Huffman, Cindy Palmer, and Dan Plucinski; siblings Jackie Wilkinson, Carolyn (Ken) Bergstrom, David Fano, and Pamela (Tim) Metzger; and several nieces and nephews.
