Kimberly Ann Baxter
Kimberly Ann Baxter (nee Gillenkirk), age 65, of Twinsburg, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023. Kim was the beloved mother of Dawn (Paul) DeCarlo and Kevin Baxter; loving daughter of the late Margaret "Peggy" (nee Clingerman) and Joseph "Larry" Gillenkirk; dear sister of the late Cindy Gillenkirk; cherished niece, cousin and friend of many.
Kim lived her whole life in Northeast Ohio. She spent many years working in public service and assisting the educational system. In her free time she enjoyed many things such as: jigsaw puzzles, baking, Zumba, dancing, vacations and weekend road-trips with her kids. She enjoyed exploring Ohio and surrounding states, seeing what they had to offer as well as traveling further to beaches and big cities.
While she enjoyed all holidays, Christmas was her absolute favorite. The Christmas music was on and tree up several months in advance.
Kim was heavily involved with her church. She devoted her time to help with many things within the church and helping others in need. She loved helping organize Chinese auctions and attending them. She supported community outreach programs and always believed in helping others. Kim loved the LORD with all her heart.
Kim's personality and humor were larger than life and one of a kind. She touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. She was loved deeply by her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
