Carolyn A. Phelan was born in Eutaw, AL on May 7, 1946 but raised in Detroit, MI.

Carolyn loved spending time with her family and taking family vacations.
She loved interior design, fashion, taking care of others, and making sure those around her had a good time and felt loved! She loved entertaining people at her home, having good music and food.
She always looked forward to hosting her family's Annual Fish Fry event, it symbolized taking time out your busy life to celebrate each other and a moment to love on family.

Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 56yrs, with who she had 5 children but she opened her heart and home to raise her nieces and granddaughter. She also leaves behind siblings, 30 other grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a host of family that miss her greatly.

She was our center, our joy, our safe place, our "home".

She was everything a woman, wife, and mother should be and more. 💜
