To my Ua.

Joshua, Josh, joshy, jnice, juice, Ssgt Moore, or my personal favorite Ua. No matter what you knew Josh as you knew him as the person that could walk into any room and brighten it by his contagious smile. You knew him as the goofy, hard working, kind spirited, passionate, genuine man that he was. A son, brother, nephew, cousin, fellow marine, teammate, classmate, friend, father figure, soulmate. These are some of the titles Joshua held to all of us here, and he was so proud of each and every one of those titles. I know Josh impacted so many people during his time earth side and will continue as he lives within all of us indefinitely. Finding the words to say is next to impossible, but I’ll try my best. It’s no secret more than one life was lost that day. Joshs best friend Daniel also passed away. Daniel and I would fight nearly every day for custody over Joshua. It’s safe to say Danny finally won that one, and he gets to keep him forever. I’m forever grateful that after these two met and became inseparable neither one of them had live a single day without the other. And they remain together in the afterlife. The pain of losing them both is unreal but I know I have 2 guardian angels raging out and causing chaos up in heaven and watching over me. Josh and I had an unbelievable connection, one that stops you in your tracks, and sends chills down your spine, or maybe was it that he just stalked me since 2016 and those of you that know that story know exactly what I’m referring to. I never in my life imagined I would feel a love like that in this lifetime other than that unconditional love I have for my son Ashton. And josh made sure each and every day I was reminded of the unconditional love we shared, from rubbing my feet, meal prepping for me, starting a warm shower for me so I could lay in bed just a few more moments, bringing me random surprises to work, mainly Starbucks, to waking up to hold me every time I had a nightmare, to brushing my hair and trying on my extension, (they look better on me) to making sure I ate at least twice a day, to spontaneous date nights multiple times a month. he always reminded me. Josh didn’t just show me unconditional love, he showed my son Ashton. From the countless hours they spent building legos, playing video games, going to the arcade, go kartting, to eating so much ice cream together while I was at work and trying to keep it a secret when I got home. These two were inseparable and loved each other deeply and completely. I’ll forever be grateful for the impact Josh had on our lives. I’m still not sure where my life goes from here but I know I’ll have him looking out for us and guiding us on our way. I love you so much my Ua. I promise to take care of myself the way you would have taken care of me. 11:11 babe you’re my forever wish come true. For one last time shloop and bapaboui.
