Life story

Brittany Lockhart was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend whose life touched everyone around her with warmth, passion, and unwavering dedication. Born and raised in Prince George, Brittany grew up in a close-knit family with her father Howard, mother Kathy, and brother Mike. From a young age, she exhibited a strong sense of loyalty and love for her family, values that would guide her throughout her life.

Brittany’s love for sports, particularly hockey, was one of her defining traits. Whether playing or cheering on her favorite teams, she was known for her enthusiasm, competitive spirit, and love for the game. Alongside her athletic interests, Brittany had a deep connection with animals. Her teenage years were largely spent in 4H, where she developed a profound sense of responsibility and care for the animals she raised.

After graduating from high school, Brittany’s love for creativity led her to pursue a degree in Interior Design at the University of Victoria. She poured her heart into her studies, finding great joy in shaping beautiful, functional spaces that reflected the needs and personalities of the people who lived within them.

In 2016, Brittany's life took on a new and cherished dimension when she became the proud mother of a son, a bright and energetic boy who brought immeasurable joy to her life. Brittany was deeply devoted to her son, always striving to provide him with love, guidance, and an environment where he could grow into his best self. Her role as a mother became one of her greatest sources of pride, and her love for her child was evident to all who knew her.

Brittany's bright spirit, her zest for life, and her compassionate nature will forever be remembered by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched, her accomplishments, and, most importantly, the deep love she shared with those closest to her.
