My Guardian Angel

My Uncle Joey passed away on my 2nd Birthday. Being only 2 at the time of his passing, I can't say I really knew him "personally". That all changed each year I got older. Story after story of Joey's adventures would flood our family dinner tables. My Papaw always told me stories of his victories, wrestling for Lincolnview. My dad and uncle reminisced constantly about his epic brawls, but also the kindness he had in his heart. Growing up, in my mind, my uncle was a Warrior, a protector, a guardian. A guardian angel. My guardian angel.
