Life story

Hello and thank you for indulging your curiosity on who this special man, our father, Steven Scott Hehner, was.

This page is brand new (December 2023) and will be updated with more photos and stories as they come in from family so, please check in again!

For now, let us tell you a little about our dad.

He was a loving husband of Cindy Hehner. Cherished father of A. J. Castellanos-Hehner, Heather (Russell) Astle, Crystal Hehner, Bryce (Theresa) Hehner. Grandfather of Maddie, Aaron, Remy, Neil, Gwynneth, Reggie and Joan. Son of the late Emery Hehner and Velma Buckner. Brother of Victoria Hall, Cynthia G., Tamara Frieberg and Michael Swartz. Since his passing Steve has gained 2 additional grandchildren, Patrick & Asher.

He served with his whole heart as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He joined the church at the age of 18 and served a 2 year mission for the church in Scotland. His love for serving others was without a doubt one of his greatest joys and what he's best known for.

He served as a Chaplin for Roseville Sutter Hospital in hopes to give comfort where needed.

Dad was taken too soon and is missed terribly every day.
