Carlos was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a cherished grandfather who passed away peacefully on November 17, 2021. Born on October 27, 1974 in LaGrange, he lived a life rich in love, laughter, and loyalty.

Carlos found his greatest joy in his family. He was a pillar of strength and a source of endless support for his beloved wife, Wanda. Together, they built a home filled with warmth and affection. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them, whether it was sharing stories, offering guidance, or simply enjoying their company.

A proud and passionate supporter of Auburn University football, Carlos was known for his unwavering enthusiasm and dedication to the Tigers. Saturdays in the fall were sacred times, filled with excitement and camaraderie as he cheered on his favorite team. His love for Auburn football was more than just a pastime; it was a bond that connected him to friends and family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Carlos was a man of integrity, kindness, and generosity. He touched the lives of many with his genuine care and concern for others. His legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Barrett; his children, Shacarla, Sergio, Kiera and Diamond; and his adored grandchildren, Justice, Wynter, Ryder, Zoey, Ashton, Bryson, Kingston; his beloved mother, Christine Barrett; and his beloved siblings, Kinina, Travis, Chedbreka, Byron, Demetria. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.

In addition to his family, his SouthSide family meant the world to him and he cherished their brotherhood. He was an avid griller and loved to use his grill talents and sports to bring friends and family together.
