In loving memory of Tamsen, a daughter, sister, and best friend,
Whose laughter once echoed, now silenced too soon, it's hard to comprehend.
With every smile she wore, hid a battle deep within,
A war fought without guns or swords, where darkness sought to win.
No armies rallied by her side, no cavalry to save the day,
She fought alone, in shadows cast, until the price she had to pay.
Against the relentless grip of despair, her strength finally gave way,
Leaving behind shattered hearts and memories, as we mourn her today.
Gathered here, both kin and friend, to honour her journey's end,
With tears we shed and memories shared, her spirit we'll forever defend.
Her last words, a whispered plea, a heavy burden; though now set free.
Yet in our hearts, she'll always reside, a cherished light, a guiding star.
Though she's left this earthly plane, her legacy will forever remain,
In every laugh, in every tear, in every joy, and every pain.
I'll carry on where she left off, continuing the fight,
And in the end, we'll reunite, under skies forever bright.
Forever and always, to infinity and beyond,
In the embrace of memories, our bond will respond.
Rest now, dear Tammy, in peace may you find,
Your presence forever cherished, in hearts intertwined.
