Shannon Reilly Gutches - Dr.

Shannon Reilly Gutches, 33, of Bound Brook, previously Elizabeth, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 6, 2019.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visiting hours in the Werson Funeral Home on Sunday, October 13th from 12-2 and 4-6. Funeral will begin on Monday at 11:30 am in the Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 14th at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden.
Shannon was a loving and compassionate young woman who was driven and dedicated to helping children. She was a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD, Hofstra University) and worked as a Child Psychologist for over five years, employed most recently at the Board of Education in Hillsborough and before that at Piscataway High School. She was also very involved and deeply committed to the Hi-Step Social Skills Program. Shannon also was the proud Director of Academy of Dance in Union, where she encouraged her students to embrace their love for dance, as well as their individuality and creativity.
Shannon is survived by her loving parents, Garry and Donna Gutches; her dedicated and loving fianc, Jason Lucre; her cherished sister, Caitlin Camuccio and her husband Anthony; and her beloved fur baby Murphy Walker Gutches Lucre. In addition, she is survived by her dear aunts and uncles, Dianne and Robert Triola, Debbie and Gerry Lorenzetti, and Marybeth and Bill Gutches. Shannons "chosen" family also survives her, and includes her Aunt Carol and many other caring and beloved "aunts", "uncles", "nieces", "nephews", "brothers", "sisters" and dance family. She will be remembered with a happy and giving heart and May God hold her in the palm of His hand.
