Brandon Nicholas Amiot
"All legends die young" “Safety” “Bet”
Brandon Amiot of Lebanon, Connecticut, born April 19, 2007 unexpectedly passed away in a car accident July 16, 2023 at just 16 years old. Brandon is now with his Papa Mark Royce, his Meme Debbie Komoroski and his uncles Mark Royce and Shawn Amiot. This brings us some comfort knowing so many loved ones are there for him.
Brandon leaves behind his parents Amber and Ron Minas of Lebanon and his father Tim Amiot of East Hartford, his two sisters Kaylee Amiot and Alexa DiCicco of Lebanon who absolutely loved and adored their brother; his step brothers Alex, Brayden and Cade Minas, his nana Kim Royce of Portland, his Auntie Ashley Royce and his Mimi Samantha Caffrey, his uncles Floyd, Chris, Ryan, Mike Komoroski, his Grandma Judy Amiot of East Hartford, his Pop Pop Bob Amiot of Manchester, and many, many cousins that will miss him dearly and other close family members that were part of Brandon’s life.
Brandon was to be a junior at Lyman Memorial High School class of 2025 this fall. He had a passion for adventure and loved to get on quads and dirt bikes and enjoy the outdoors. Brandon enjoyed spending time with all of his friends, always making sure to spend time with each one of them. Brandon was looking forward to getting his license in just a few short weeks and was so excited to drive his car, as he had many plans for his future. Anyone who knew Brandon knew that he lit up the room anytime he walked in, as he had a contagious laugh, smile and loved to be the center of attention. He had many friends that branched out to several different towns and sometimes it was hard to keep up with all of them. But he cared for every single one of em.
We are all so deeply saddened Brandon is no longer here to keep us laughing, or keep us on edge, or to make our lives a little more happier. B gave good advice to his friends and just wanted them to all be ok, he worried more about the people he loved and cared about more than himself, he put himself last and everyone else came first. Brandon struggled over the past few years and finally find peace and happiness in his life with his close family by his side cheering him on and making him love himself more which he did. He found so much comfort with his friends and his family. He finally realized to love himself, and that he did lol! He had such an amazing bond with Kaylee, very protective of Lexi, him and his “OG dad” as B called him, would talk for hours every night and B confided in him with everything. We have such a large family and many cousins but B was especially close with who everyone knows as “Bubba”. Even though Bubba was younger than B, he showed him the ropes, taught him to stand up for himself even if that meant B beating on him a bit lol. Brandon takes credit for Bubba being able to handle himself. I don’t know how Brandon found the time to spend with so many people but he did. I’m especially thankful for the night before he passed. He was so happy, hanging with his family and friends, rapping to us around the fire, very eager to push me in the pool all day and he finally got me! He was so proud of himself for that one. Lives will never be the same without him here. Life was so much better with him in it 🩵
