I love you forever my king my heart will be forever broken 💔
In loving memory of my beautiful son, Stevo.
Diagnosed with brain cancer on his 18th birthday, he is forever 19. He fought bravely for 22 months. Remember the journey of hope that led us across the ocean—we traveled to Houston, Texas, because I believed I could save your life. I believed somebody, somewhere, had to save his life—a mother’s worst nightmare.
Though life now moves forward with my heart forever broken, his memory remains a beacon of love and strength. He was a warrior who said it as it was. He faced life’s toughest challenges, but his massive sense of humor got us through our dark days. He was my king, and I was in awe of the strength and grace he showed through it all. He never complained of pain—he only gave out when we didn’t do things right or fast enough.
Stevo passed away peacefully in my arms at home, in his bed, just the two of us, and for that, I am grateful. He explained that heaven looked like meadows, and that my brother Alan was meeting him there, along with Padre Pio.
Living with a broken heart and keeping my son’s memory alive, he always made everyone smile, and he’ll forever be remembered so fondly. My heart may be broken, and I may never be quite the same, but he always called me his queen, and he was my king.
Forever loved never forgotten until we meet again x
