Rufus Witcher
“I’m gon skin yo ass”….Mista
Rufus Montray Witcher, “Mista” was born to Diane Priscilla Witcher and Rufus Walton, Jr., on October 17, 1987. Mista attended Blackwell and Woodville Elementary, Mosby Middle, and Armstrong High School in Richmond, Virginia. To know Mista was to love him. He was well known but humble. Mista was loyal, trustworthy, authentic, funny, loving and caring. He was someone that if he had it, you had it. Mista was always smiling, and he was known for making people laugh. He was 6’6”, but his personality exceeded his height. His light shined bright in any room. Mista loved his mother who was his best friend and if you know him you know Ms. Diane. He also, loved his kids, family and friends deeply. So much so that the line between family and friends blurred. Mista enjoyed shooting dice; remember this phrase, “I’ma skin yo ass.” Mista was known for his generosity and “legendary status”
