Life story
James Lee Simpson passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012, at the age of 64. He is survived by beloved wife, Jeannine Chappuis Simpson, his daughters, Emilie Conlee-Sower (Chris) and Susanna Simpson Craig (Scott), his son, James Lee Simpson, Jr. (Jennifer), his grandchildren Nicholas Chappuis Conlee, Madeline Grace Sower and James Lee "Tres" Simpson III, his brothers Dennis Simpson and Allan Simpson, and his sister, Carol Simpson Wilkinson. James was the son of the late William James Simpson and Gladys Muller Simpson. James was a proud graduate of Warren Easten High School, University of Southern Louisiana and Loyola University, and he worked for Texaco Oil for 28 years prior to his retirement in 2001.
