Life story
A hardworking life lived deserves to be beautifully remembered……Paul Razo was born on August 30, 1976 to Martha Madrid and since the day he was born was the apple of his mothers eye. They shared a great bond and love. From a young age Paul was into sports and was very athletic. Having been selected to play on the Varsity team for Hoover High School when he was just a Freshman. He showed great bravery as when he was accepted into the LAPD Academy he lost his mother to Stomache Cancer which devastated him, but in her honor he pursued his career and graduated to become and officer where he served 25 years. Paul was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on September 28, 2021. He fought a courageous battle and never complained about the various, testing, procedures, and appointments he would endure during the course of his treatment. He was able to go into remission 3 times but unfortunately succomed to his illness on May 20, 2023. He was survived, and adored by his older sister Yvonne (Bonnie) brother in law Frank, younger sister Roxanna. brother in law Nelson. Nieces and Nephews, Crystal, Frank Jr, Arianna, Nelson, Angelyssa, and Aziel. He will be especially missed by Partner Chris, his chihuaha Churro and Yorkie Gucci.
Today is Theresa and my anniversary. Paul you have been with us for so long. I regret that in your latter years we didn’t keep in contact like we should have. To me you’re like the redwood trees in Northern California. You didn’t have to see them to know they were always there. I took our friendship for granted expecting you to always be there. I loved meeting you at BJ’s and beers just talking and laughing. Your sheepish grin like you were up to something seemed to brighten up the lousy days I had. Me and my boys loved hanging out with you swimming and listening to your oldies music and trying to eat ur charcoaled burgers… I don’t understand why God took away from us but I know in heaven you’re with your mother. You and your mom are better than angels, (1Cor 6:3), judging them in heaven! You knew Christ so you will be with Him! You ARE with him. I thank God for you being in my life and knowing you like I did. I still can’t believe you really are gone. For us still here dealing with our shattered hearts I share this, Psalm 34:18
“The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a crushed spirit.”
Today would have been your 47th birthday and I just wanted to let you know how loved and missed you are. Your life will forever be remembered with nothing but love and beautiful memories. We will honor you tomorrow for your bravery , your strength, your many years of hard work and all of the good that made you who you were. I will always be proud of you, I will always remember you with love and respect. You were an inspiration in your fight to beat your leukemia and although the end of your life was not how we had planned, per your last words to me, I’m ready to be with mom, I need her , I’m tired of the pain. I know if you couldn’t be here with us your are with our mother whom you have loved and missed deeply for the last 25 years. You left it the other half of my heart that didn’t go with mom. I love you, your big sister Bonnie
To my dear love, I miss you with all my heart, I wish you were still here with me by my side, there’s not one day I don’t think of you and the so many memories we made together throughout the years, you meant so much to me and it hurts me dearly to know that your gone but I’m glad your not suffering anymore and pain free. All I want to say is I love you with all my heart and I will always be with me.
