Matthew Eric Mashburn Jr.

Matthew Eric Mashburn, Jr., 18, of Cabot, passed away after a motorcycle accident, Tuesday, May 17, 2022. He was born September 8, 2003 near Atlanta, Georgia to Matthew Mashburn, Sr. and Shannon Mashburn. Matthew enjoyed riding his motorcycle and listening to music. He was looking forward to joining the military in the future and worked hard in the gym to get ready. He enjoyed time with his friends and family and was ready to begin his second year of college. Matthew was a former commander of Cabot High School ROTC and an honor roll student. He was currently a student at University of Central Arkansas, Conway.

Survivors include his father, Matthew Mashburn, Sr., of Cabot, AR, his mother, Shannon Mashburn, of Fort Pierce, FL, his younger brother, Isaac Mashburn, and many extended family members and friends.

Gravesides services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
