Happy birthday Mike!
We miss you everyday.
Life of the party!
We hold onto all the great memories we have of Michael for how kind he was, how fun he was, how much love he showed everyone who came in his path. There are not enough positive adjectives to sufficiently describe who Michael was as a person.
“It’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years.” That’s what Tyler (Michael’s identical twin brother) submitted as his quote for his High School Senior Year Book. And if that’s true, Michael lived a long happy life. For context, Michael submitted “I’m with stupid” with arrows pointing to the right, knowing alphabetically, Tyler’s photo would be to his right.
Michael was born Michael Vito Shelton on October 18, 1989 in Tarzana, CA. He was the 4th child of Pat and Sheri Shelton. They continue to live in Thousand Oaks, CA where Michael was raised.
Michael went to Thousand Oaks High School and graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He then went to work for Siemens Energy, where he climbed the ranks to become Regional Director of the Power Systems Sales Organization. Michael was the youngest Regional Director they’ve had. Per Michael’s colleagues, the role Michael was promoted to required a minimum of 10 years experience, which Michael had half of that. However, he was the best candidate for the position due to his maturity, leadership, humble, and caring qualities.
We design every page from Michael’s 39 photos. Make it yours, then order a copy for everyone who loved Michael.

Missing you!
We missed Michael at our baby shower and know he would have been, as always, the life of the party and definitely wouldn’t have missed the bottle chug with the boys. Brought the bottle to him so he could participate, miss him everyday especially at our special events.
