Survivors include his parents, Gary & Julia Smith of Stephenville, Texas; brother, William Smith and wife, Kate, of Austin, Texas; sister, Hailey Smith of Fort Worth, Texas; his soul mate, Heather Dyer of San Marcos, Texas; paternal grandparents, Sammy & Barbara Smith of Stephenville, Texas; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lydia & Martin Hoel and Lawrence Orbeck.
