Aliyah Renee Miracle
12/27/12 - 06/05/2017 What mattered most of all was the dash between those years. For that dash represents all the time that they spent alive on earth. And now only those who loved them know what that little line is worth. Aliyah’s dash was not measured in years, but in love. In tea parties and mud puddles, in songs sung at the top of her lungs! Her dash was bold, joyful, and unforgettable a lifetime of love written in far too short a space.
Aliyah Renee Miracle was a bright, joyful, unforgettable little girl who filled every room she entered with light. She was full of life — bold, loving, and never shy. Aliyah had a way of making complete strangers smile, and so many people loved and cherished her in her short but beautiful time here.
Being a big sister brought Aliyah so much happiness. She embraced that role with pride and excitement, carrying herself with a sense of importance and love that was far beyond her years.
Aliyah was her mommy’s firstborn — her heart outside her body. She was also a true Mammaw and Papaw’s girl. She shared a special bond with her Mammaw Reeda and her Papaw Paul, who lovingly called her “Punkin.” She treasured that relationship, just as they treasured her.
She loved purple, Barbies, tea parties, singing at the top of her lungs, and using her imagination in pretend play. She loved Bubble Guppies, Toy Story, Frozen, Moana, and Trolls. She found joy in the simple things — splashing in mud puddles, long bath times, and making everyday moments magical. She was a bundle of love and laughter.
Aliyah was incredibly intelligent and advanced for her age — she could even write her own name. She was curious, expressive, and so very happy. She lived fully and freely.
On June 5, 2017, Aliyah passed away in a tragic car accident. Though her time here was far too short, the impact she made is everlasting. Her life was meaningful. Her love remains. Her light continues to shine through everyone who was blessed to know her.
She will forever be Mommy’s “Fathead,” Papaw’s “Punkin,” and a beautiful soul who changed this world simply by being in it.
