Life story
Black, Carol A - It is with great sorrow and sad hearts that her family announces the passing of Carol Ann Black (nee Cooke) at Huron Shores Hospice on September 4, 2023 in her 83rd year.
Wife of the late Douglas Black for 61 years, survived by sister Donna (Dennis) Slote, and lovingly cherished by her children Heather (Ivan), Lisa (Paul), and Kelly. Much loved Grandma to Sarah (Mike), Stephanie (Arlan), Krysta (Bret), Shannon, Jonathan (Emma) and her six great-grandchildren; Alexis, Zachary, Oliver, Claire, Lucas and Blake.
A private family service will be held at Smiths Funeral Home in Burlington, and interment at Memorial Gardens Burlington.
If desired, expressions of sympathy to Huron Shores Hospice (Tiverton, ON) would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
