Phillip Wayne Snoddy

Phillip was a great man that was known to all as "Papa Phil." He never knew a stranger and was loved by all that knew him. He served our country by joining the Air Force after graduating High School. After his service he worked for the Centel Telephone Company for 37 years of which he retired from. He loved to fish, hunt, raise gardens, wood working, and piddle with metal and wire scrap. Pop loved all sports just about, but his favorite was Baseball. Pop loved his family especially his Great Grandkids. He had a special connection with his Great Grandson Brian "Wayne" and his Great Granddaughter Brianna. He would grow a big garden every year, more than him and grandma could eat so he would just go around and give away the extra fruits and veggies to the family, neighbors, and the staffing at Martha Jefferson Hospital. Phil was a talker, he could get lost in conversation for hours with friends and family. He would help anyone that needed it. He will forever be missed by all that knew him.
