In Loving Memory of Diana Loveland - December 29, 1945 - November 2, 2023

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we bid a heartfelt farewell to a truly remarkable soul, Diana Loveland (also deemed “Nana”), graced this world with kindness and compassion. Diana was a shining beacon of love and generosity, whose presence in our lives will be forever cherished.

Born on December 29, 1945, Diana possessed a gentle spirit that touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her unwavering kindness and selflessness knew no bounds, as she constantly went above and beyond to lift others up in times of need. Diana was a true embodiment of empathy, always lending a listening ear, offering comforting words, and extending a helping hand whenever it was needed.

Diana had an esteemed career as a nurse. This began when she graduated from the University of Purdue with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She continued her career in the Nursing Program at Lewis and Clark Career Center as an instructor. She retired from this program after 30 years of teaching. Diana later returned to the workforce to assist her husband Paul in running their family business, Loveland Electrical Service. She did this for several years helping tend to and grow the business.

In her personal life, Diana was known for many things. She enjoyed life whether it was curling up on the couch with her furry companions and a good book, or traveling the country to sight-see with her husband. She also enjoyed baking, and was a green thumb with a fruitful garden and a home full of exotic plants. Diana was a radiant soul. Her optimistic attitude and outlook on life could be felt by all around her. Above all, Diana was an adored family member and beloved friend. She nurtured cherished relationships, always offering her support and encouragement. From the moment she embraced the role of daughter, sister, spouse, mother, aunt, and grandmother, her commitment to her family was evident to all that knew her. She created lasting memories through cherished traditions, heartfelt conversations, and special celebrations. She was the “glue” that held her family together, and her impact will be felt for generations to come.

May our dear Diana rest in eternal peace, knowing that her love and kindness will forever ripple through the lives that she has touched. Let us honor her memory by continuing to emulate the kindness and compassion she expressed throughout her life.
