Life story

Harvey Shaun Tabion, of Waldorf, MD departed his earthly life at the young age of 40 on January 5, 2023. He was born in Washington, DC, on February 3, 1982, to Herminio Tabion and the late Suzette Tabion and was the younger brother of Hazel (Tabion) Tomita. Harvey met the love of his life and wife of 11 years, Edel (Ricasa) Tabion, at the age of 6 years old, while both under the care of his “Mamang” (grandmother) in Fort Washington, MD. Together they created four amazing children: Malakai Shaun (20), Maika (12), Major (10), and Maksim (8) Tabion. It’s no secret his children were the center and light of his life, and he enjoyed every moment spent watching them grow to who they are today. Each of them share a bit of his personality, including their love of sports and pure tender hearts. Harvey was undoubtedly Super Dad (& Super Husband)!

Harvey spent most of his youth playing various sports, even ranking nationally in tennis. He was committed in his career as a Deputy Program Manager at Qsack & Associates, where he worked for 19 years. Harvey showed dedication and selflessness in all his endeavors. Also known as “Harv” to many, his genuineness and ability to solve any problem was a hallmark of his nature. Anyone could meet Harv for the first time and in just minutes, feel as though you’ve been lifelong friends. This was his superpower - making everyone around him, even strangers, feel valued and understood. Whether it being a captivating anecdote, some impactful insight he shared, or a hilarious inside joke, each of us have our own special bond with Harv that continues to make us smile and feel so blessed for his presence in our lives.

It is important to know that Harvey was happy and content at the time of his passing. His children and wife were his biggest accomplishment, and he was so incredibly proud of each of them. His focus was to continue to be the best Super Dad he could possibly be - and this meant leading his family to be even more closer to God. Harvey understood the importance of truth and guidance from the one Almighty Father himself.

Harvey, you are irreplaceable as a son, husband, dad, brother, cousin and friend. Our short time with you is deeply cherished. You will be forever in our hearts. 🖤

Miss and Love you brotha

Bro. We have too many memories to even try to remember. I can cleary recall the unforgettable stories like how much bacon you eat and how you and your sister got smacked and how every time we came home we took pictures of Kai doing ‘chin up’. We miss you down here dawg. The most recent memories were of us: me, you, and Joey. Talking about life, our families and especially the kids. As I write this devotion to you I think of how hard it was when you were here to stay in touch. But now we are trying even harder to keep showing, like we talked about, how were here for the family. We got you bro. Rest easy and know that we think of you. Always. Love you brotha.

Missin' the good ol' days

The afterlife after party awaits us, but still we wish we were here together with each other. We love you and miss you each and every day, Harvey and miss your positive vibes and big laughter! Your absence is felt, but continuing to create more memories with the family...especially with Kai, Maika, Major & Maks...makes your presence very real. ✝️♥️ XOXO, CzarMaJaiRiAma
