Life story

Leya Fries, 49, residing in Norwalk, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at her home.

Leya was an amazing mother, grandmother and wife. She valued her family most in life.

She was selfless, always putting others first. She loved quiet days working around the house or outside in the garden or yard. She made the best cup of coffe. You never visited Leya’s without something good to eat. She loved being outside, enjoying nature. Window sils always decorated with wildflowers in a jelly jar in a bright, open, clean yet welcome and cozy home. Mom made every holiday more magical, every birthday more special and every family get together perfect. She had a way of making everyone feel important and loved.

She supported her family fiercely. She was the best Grammy to her grandchildren. Always thinking of them, giving them her undivided attention and love. While we will miss watching her love them as they grow, we’ll hold closely the memories we made.

We miss her loving touch to everything she said and did. Enjoy this small tribute to her beautiful life and hopefully you can understand how loved she was and how wonderful of a journey on earth she had.

Love,

Airrin & Spencer
