Christina Nicholle Mcgee-Reynolds
“Ezekiel is so smart! “ “I love that boy so much!” Give people their flowers when you can. Hug your loved ones as often as you can.
Christina Nicholle McGee Reynolds was born to Leslie Antoinette McGee and Wesley James McGee in Oakland, California on April 2, 1979. She was affectionately called Tina by almost everyone.
Tina was such a cute baby and grew into a beautiful young woman who was gentle, kind, and caring towards all she loved. Another love of Tina's was animals. She used to carry a kitten with her wherever she went and loved dogs beginning with her grandmother's Dalmatian and golden retriever. When the family moved to the country, she loved the ducks and chickens just as much as the pets. In fact, when she was only two years old, she overheard an unfortunate chicken might make it to the family dinner table, she carefully threw the rooster over the fence so no one could find it. She often brought home to Ezekiel rescue dogs and cats and showered them with love so Ezekiel shared that same love and concern for dogs and cats.
Like Lisa and most of the grandkids, Tina knew how to swim before she learned to walk (except Jordan because he was a November baby).Tina played with dolls and pretended to cook in her play kitchen. Tina graduated from Fairfield High School just as she began receiving chemotherapy. She valiantly fought and beat the cancer, but some of the effects followed her into adulthood. After beating cancer, Tina got hit by a car and required several surgeries to repair and eventually replace her shattered shoulder. She was amazingly strong though out it all.
The happiest times of Tina's life began when she gave birth to Ezekiel. She wanted to provide him the world and stopped at nothing to make it happen. As a matter of fact, her last night with Ezekiel was spent playing games at Dave & Busters - a positive memory for Ezekiel for sure. She was so proud of how smart he is and said he could be whatever he wanted to be. Tina was not exaggerating, as Ezekiel is so wise and intelligent. He will make her proud as she watches over him.
Tina is survived by her mother, Leslie, her son, Ezekiel Reynolds, her sister Lisa McGee, her nephews Jordan Allen and Cortney Elahi and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tina’s cat, Hope, has been entrusted to Dennis and Julie Haley per Ezekiel’s wishes for a safe and loving home. Tina was preceded in death by maternal grandparents William “Bill” Corey and Carol “Papa” Core;y paternal grandparents James McGee and Ena McGee; father Wesley McGee; cousin Erin Christopher McGee and her beautiful niece Corey Antoinette Elahi. They are all reunited in eternal peac
