Laverne Caldwell
Laverne Caldwell was born on March 12, 1951 in Jackson, MS to the late Oscar Smith and Lula Boyd. She departed this life on Sunday, April 26, 2009, at the age of 58. Laverne, also known as Verne or “ Gramma “ moved to Las Vegas, NV in 1962 where she started a family. She was the proud mother of five children. Laverne was preceded in her death by her daughter, Pamela Williams, and her two sisters Shirley Smith and Melinda Smith.
She married her long time husband Chad Caldwell in 1992. She left to cherish her fond memories with her children and grandchildren, two sons: Herbert Williams Jr, Anthony Williams, two daughters: Jerrie Williams and Shakiva Williams, Grandchildren: Charlene, Laneisha, Damario, Demetrius, Sham’Bre, Antonio, Herbert III, Sha’Rhod, Shaki’Bre, Kiwon, Kionna and after death Korinthian. Great grandchildren: Denise , after death Shamarion, Syion, Rainah, Sarion, Samaria and Sha’Rhod Jr. (bonus great grand Demondre JR)
