Akiko San ODonoghue
Fate whispers to the warrior, 'You can not withstand the storm. ' The warrior whispers back, 'I am the storm. '
Akiko grew up in mays landing and attended Oakcrest high school. She had a creative mind for art and poetry. Akiko loved animal's and had a caring way with them. She loved the beach and any warm day thats where you would find her. Akiko was fierce and outspoken. She was blunt and was not afraid to share her ideas and thoughts regardless of what others thought. I had so much respect for her strength and how unapologetic she wore her crown. I admired how she refused to yield to people or challenges life threw at her. Losing a loved one is always difficult, but losing a twin sister can be an especially challenging experience. My twin sister was more than just a sibling; she was my confidant, my best friend and my partner in life's journeys, and two halves of the same heart. My sister was not just my twin; she was a remarkable woman in her own right. Her spirit was contagious She was a warrior, facing life's challenges with courage that inspired me every day. Thank you for being a part of my life, for being my twin, my sister, my friend. You will always be a part of me, a part of my soul, a part of my being.
Your spirit will continue to live on, in the stories I share, in the memories your family cherish, in the love that binds you and I together.
