Joseph James Cortez Jr.

Joseph "Joe" James Cortez Jr. passed away on August 8, 2021. He was born in Pueblo, Colorado on January 10, 1983 to Joseph James Cortez Sr. and Josephine Archuleta. He is preceded in death by his son Joseph Cortez; grandmother Estella Hernandez; Cousin Chantel Archuleta, and numerous uncles. He is survived by his wife Gena; children Cheyanne, Anthony, and Mario Cortez, Robert, Darrent and Crystal. Parents: Joseph Cortez and Josephine Archuleta, Siblings; Anthony Romero, Herman and Sabrina Cortez. Jay loved to travel, listen, and share his love of music, ride motorcycles, camping, and fishing. He was witty and had the best sense of humor. Joe was a protector and rock for his family, best father, husband, son, brother, and friend. He will leave a void the hearts of all that knew him.
