Arthur Joseph Byrne Sr.

Arthur Joseph Byrne, 76 of Rutherford, NJ passed away on July 4, 2021. Born in Bolinrush, County Wexford, Ireland,he came to America in 1973. He was the former owner of the Blarney Stone in NYC on West 32nd Street for 30yrs and currently owned the Blarney Station in East Rutherford, NJ. Artie was a parishioner of St. Mary RC Church, Rutherford,NJ; a memberof the Rutherford Irish American Association and former Grand Marshall of the 2020 St. Patrick's Day Parade in Rutherford. He has had a lifelong interest in carpentry and spent his spare time golfing and rooting for Wexford in the GAA. Artie, more than anything is known for his friendliness, sense of humor, and famous corned beef. Beloved husband of M. Bernadette (nee Geraghty) Byrne. Loving father of Joanne Bohan & her husband Terry, Karen Desrosiers & her husband Greg, Kevin & his wife Jessica, Artie & his wife Jennifer, Bernadette Dunnirvine & her husband Michael. Step father of Edward & his wife Sharon, and Christopher. Step father in law to Candyce. Cherished Grandfather of 23 Grandchildren. Dear brother of Michael, Patrick, Kathleen Doyle, Jim, Tom, Nancy, and the late Mary, the late Luke, & the late Sean.
