Mariano Benavidez

Mariano (Mario) Benavidez Jr.,64, passed away peacefully in the arms of his wife, Belinda in their home in Goliad, Texas on September 2, 2021.

Mario was born on October 16, 1956, to his late parents Mariano Benavidez Sr. and Ramona Tinoco Benavidez.

Mario was a proud owner operator of M & B Trucking LLC. He enjoyed the open road and in his spare time enjoyed fiddling in his shop. His family was his pride and joy. He was the best at grilling food.

Mario married Belinda on January 21, 1995. They shared so many beautiful moments together with their children Marcus and Melanie. He will forever be remembered with love.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Cristina Benavidez.

Mario is survived by his wife, Belinda Benavidez of Goliad; children, Marcus Mariano Benavidez of Rockport, Melanie Faith Benavidez of Goliad, John Paul Benavidez of George West, Tina Louise Lopez of Orange Grove, Emily D’Ann Kapolnai of Las Vegas, Nevada, “Bonus Daughters” are Prisca Perez of Port Lavaca, Chantel Trejo-Schmidt of Corpus Christi, Carmen Barrera of Goliad, Crystal Hinojosa of San Antonio, Suzanna Martinez of Victoria; siblings, Carlos Benavidez of Corpus Christi, Rose Mary Baldwin of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Sarah Martinez of Beeville, Nohemi Benavidez of Corpus Christi, Eva (Leo) Silvas of San Antonio, Gloria Garcia of Encinal, Elva Ramirez of Cotulla, Norma Valenzuela of San Antonio also numerous grandchildren.
