Sleepover memory
I absolutely loved staying the night with Mamaw. I would take a bath and she always took the bar of soap and rolled it in the washcloth to make so much lather. Then, she would let me sleep in one of her nightgowns. We would watch Golden Girls and Lovern and Shirley. When we got in the bed we had to take all of the decorative pillows off and roll the top comforter down to the bottom. She taught me to put the tv remote under my pillow so I would be able to find it the next morning. When we woke up, she would be cooking breakfast with papaw and I always tried to make the bed to surprise her. She usually ended up helping me. Then, we would go to the grocery stores and out to eat for lunch before I went home. ❤️
