In loving memory of
Dr. Megan Taylor Grace
“You were born with the ability to change someone’s life, don’t ever waste it.”
Introducing Dr. Megan Taylor Grace....
Driven
Megan graduated from Bayside High School in 2014 with a degree from EFSC. She also obtained her Bachelor’s in biology from the University of Florida as well as her Master’s and PhD in occupational therapy from the University of St. Augustine. Apart from being involved in many committees and receiving many accolades from being a student scholar, Megan began her dream career as an occupational therapist for the Hale Hand Center as well as Encompass Health. She also had the opportunity to begin her teaching career as an associate professor for the University of St. Augustine.
Passionate
Megan was incredibly passionate about her career, and even more passionate about time spent with family, friends and her fur babies Lily and Nala. She loved like no other, no matter the place or time of day. Megan was always passionate about reaching her goals, and taking the right steps to reach those goals. All while making the most out of every day. Her love was always available to family and friends whenever needed, and her presence always left a joy that would linger among the room. You could always feel her energy when she was near.
Her passion to live, travel, and experience was greatly known by her close friends and family, as she always had to have a travel destination planned. In her life, she had the chance to visit a large number of states across the U.S., as well as nearby countries and territories like Mexico, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and Canada. Each destination and its itinerary could explain how full of a life that Megan lived.
Every day was lived like her last. Her presence left a footprint in people’s heart that still stands to this day.
Kind
In a world where you can be anything Megan chose to be kind. She created a whole new meaning of what it meant to be a kind and thoughtful human.
Anyone who crossed paths with Megan would describe her as extraordinary, with the kindest heart with the most beautiful and contagious smile that would light up your soul. Simply like no other.
There is one particular Bible verse that describes Megan the best….
1 Corinthians 16:14 “Let all that you do be done in love”.
Her thoughts, feelings and actions day after day all done with Godly love towards others.
