Life story

Lisa Petricca passed away on February 3, 2014 at the age of 48, after a three-week battle with the flu. Her husband and three sons were by her side when she left to be with the Lord. Devoted wife and mother, her passion for life and fun-loving personality will be deeply missed by all who knew her, laughed with her, and loved her. Lisa liked to spend her time with family and friends, especially at the river and in her backyard pool. She had a recent love for country music and you would always see her singing and dancing to the latest and greatest. She loved to attend Padres and Charger games, drink wine, and chat about her next upcoming trip or social event. She adored her three dogs - Lucy, Diesel, and Lola, as well as her cat Jinxie. She truly lived life to the fullest; continuously surrounding herself with the ones she loved the most. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Tony; their three boys, Vincent (22), Giovanni (18), and Dominic (16); her parents, John and Julie Cimino; and sister, Paula Weber. The Petricca Family would also like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Sharp Grossmont Hospital for their compassion and kindness. It will never be forgotten. God Bless all of the family and friends that have given so much love and support during that difficult time.
