Hi this is Shane. Y’all don’t know me. My wife and I nearly lost our son at six months. We live in Tennessee now and visit a couple times a year. Every time I visit Mattoon I make a point to visit Jagger, to honor him. God bless your family.

Happy birthday Jagger 🎂🎈I hope you’re having the best party up there with everyone who loves you. Your cousins made you the cutest cards, Jacks convinced you loveeee Godzilla and Ace really wanted auntie to make a portrait of you on his. I can’t believe you made your appearance 4 years ago, it feels like just yesterday I found out your mama was pregnant. I always wonder what you, jayce, jack, and ace would be up to. If you and Ace would be in the same class, how Jack would get you obsessed with dino’s too, how you and Ace would love to ride bikes together… as you can see Ace took your bike for a spin in the snow today, he always has to do some tricks with it for you when we come visit. The sun was shining so bright today for the best boys big birthday! We love you so much, and you are so missed sweet boy. 💙

I wish you were here to spoil today. You’d have all the cool toys & the cutest clothes. You popped up on a pic slideshow my phone made yesterday & I couldn’t get enough of your perfect little face. It was a live pic so I even got to hear you squeak. 🖤 I can’t believe it’s been 3 years, it doesn’t seem like it’s been that long at all. I’m sure you’re up there dancing, singing, & eating alllll the cake you could ever want, but gosh I wish you were here with all of us. Love you so much sweet boy 🖤 happy birthday!!!!! Your cousins came to see you today. They were so excited to bring you the frog and shells they got you in Myrtle Beach. 💙 They love to come visit you and leave you flowers. Acey always tries to steal your motorcycle that he got you for Christmas- what else are cousins for. We miss you and love you little guy 💙

We still come see you often. Lincoln loves to see if he can jump as high as your gravestone 🤣 Lenny tries to eat all of your grass so we have to leave her behind sometimes. We brought you some super solar lights today for summer. I know your mom doesn’t like a bunch of stuff out there but I hope she likes these. I thought they were perfect. Love you my boy 🖤

Missing you

Sometimes it seems so unfair that the world keeps going even though you’re not here. The life I envisioned three years ago so bright and full of life. I wish I got to do all the things I had planned for us, so many parks/zoos weekend trips just the 3 of us was going to be the best. I feel so empty and I’m struggling to find my purpose the more time that passes the harder it gets. When I had you I knew what my purpose was, My whole world changed that very second & over those next 4 days I knew I was going to do everything in my power to be the best mom. You taught me so much, you taught me the truest love there is, something I don’t think I can ever give up fighting to feel again. I love you more then you will ever know & I miss you so much ❤️❤️ Love mom 💋
