Jesus Altamirano

Jesus Altamirano, husband, father, brother, son and soon to be grandfather, suddenly passed away while vacationing in Italy on July 7, 2022. Born on November 26, 1975 in Salinas, he was the son of Filemon and Margarita Altamirano.

Jesus married the love of his life, Leticia, in 1997 Together they created a close-knit family with their two children, Sienna and Isaac. Jesus was loved by many, and even though a failing heart took him away from his loved ones, his loving heart left a beacon of light for all who knew and came into contact with him. He thrived off of adventure, and was an avid outdoors enthusiast. He loved looking at scenery while hiking with his family, and most recently friends. He loved zip lining and kayaking with his children. His sense of humor was second to none and loved telling jokes. Jesus also loved vacationing, visiting wineries, and breweries with his wife, friends and family. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him!

Jesus was a dedicated Salinas City Employee for the past 21 years and took pride in his work. His number one priority was to always provide for his family and make sure they were always taken care of.

Jesus is preceded in death by his brother, Raul and father, Filemon Altamirano.

Jesus is survived by his wife of almost 25 years, Leticia, mother Margarita, daughter Sienna, son Isaac, soon to be grandson, and siblings.
