In loving memory of Nancy Sabri, a remarkable woman with the strongest personality and an indomitable spirit. She was a resilient fighter, always facing life's challenges head-on. Nancy had a unique ability to call it how she saw it — brutally honest yet undeniably right. Her disciplined spirit illuminated every aspect of her life, leaving an enduring impact on everyone she encountered.
Nancy found solace in embracing nature through long walks, regardless of the weather, and had a green thumb that could keep plants alive forever. Her home was a symphony of fragrances, with fresh flowers adorning every corner — a testament to her love for the beauty of nature. Meanwhile, her passion for baking filled the air with the inviting aroma of freshly baked lemon pound cakes, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This attention to detail extended beyond her surroundings to her impeccable self-care routine; always having her nails done showcased Nancy's appreciation for the finer things in life and added a personal touch to the comforting haven she created.
A connoisseur of music, Nancy enjoyed the timeless tunes of the 70s/80s rock era, as well as the soulful melodies of Adele and Kelly Clarkson. Her days would generally end with 'Wheel of Fortune', a cherished moment of relaxation that perfectly complemented Nancy's love for solving puzzles and challenges, showcasing her sharp mind and keen intellect.
May the fragrance of her love and the warmth of her memories linger forever. Nancy Sabri will never be forgotten, and her legacy of strength, honesty, and love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Happy Mother’s Day Mom 💕🌸
I thought about you a lot today. I miss you so much it still doesn’t feel real. I’m not sure it ever will.
I wasn’t able to make it to the cemetery today, but I wanted to do something that still felt close to you. I put white roses into the river for you today… hoping somehow they find their way to you 🤍 Watching them float away made me reflect on so much.
I love you so much, Mom. And if there’s one thing I wish I could go back and change, it’s telling you that more often. I wish I hugged you longer, took you out more - just the two of us, and reminded you every chance I had just how amazing you were.
You are the best mom. Tough as hell, stubborn, strong, and protective… but you loved all of us so deeply. Everything you did came from love, even in the moments we didn’t fully understand it at the time. The older I get, the more I see it. The more I understand you, and the more I realize I am just like you.
You were so beautiful, Mom. You had the prettiest green eyes, and I wish I told you that more often. You had the best laugh and sense of humor…I miss laughing with you. Sometimes I watch old videos just so I can hear your laugh and voice to feel close to you.
I hope you’re watching over all of us. There’s been so much growth, so much pain, so many moments I wish I could’ve talked through with you. I hope you’re proud of me, Mom. I hope you’re proud of all of us.
Thank you for being the best mom, for loving us the way you did, and for leaving pieces of yourself in all of us. I love you so much and I’ll see you soon. Happy Mother’s Day 🌸🕊️
Happy Birthday, Mom 💕
Today would’ve been your 60th birthday, and I want you to know we truly celebrated you. We felt you with us in everything we did! A couple of weeks ago, we replaced your flowers, I hope you love them 😔 They glow so beautifully at night, and it makes me feel like a little piece of you is still shining through., looking as beautiful as ever.
Your baby Benni flew on a plane for the very first time! He did so good. I know you were right there watching him, probably just as proud as I was. You already know he’s still just as spoiled, don’t worry, that will never change. & for your 60th, Benni was spoiled with a tomoahawk steak 💕
We spent time with Shanoo and made sure to do all the things you would’ve loved. We laughed, we remembered you, and we made sure your Benni had the best time ever. We miss you more than words can ever explain, Mom. We love you endlessly. Until we’re all together again, please keep watching over us, protecting us, guiding us, and giving us signs.
And don’t worry, we’ll keep spoiling baby Benni for you 🤍 he misses you, we miss you, happy 60th mom ❤️
Hey Mom,
It was your baby Benni’s birthday this past weekend, and not a single moment went by where you weren’t on my mind. He turned 9, can you believe that?! He’s still your crazy boy.
I kept thinking about how you would have been planning this day weeks in advance, making sure he felt like the most special boy in the world. So we did our best to celebrate him the way you would have. Long, slow walks just like you used to take him on, letting him sniff everything and take his sweet time. And yes… he peed on every single tree, mailbox, and blade of grass, and I didn’t rush him one bit. He was spoiled with treats, an ice cream cake, endless belly rubs, brand new toys, and even a surprise package from Uncle Shan. You would have loved seeing how excited he got, his fluffy tail never stopped wagging all weekend, and of course he went absolutely crazy for kabobs.
I could picture you laughing and talking to him in that voice you only used for Benni, telling him how crazy he is and reminding him he’s the best boy. I know this weekend would have made your heart so full.
I know you were with us. We felt your presence in all the little moments. Kelly Clarkson was playing at the ice cream shop while Benni had his treats, and I just knew you were there, singing him happy birthday. I know you would’ve loved this weekend with him.
There’s a little video of your baby Benni’s wild birthday weekend under the media tab so you can watch it over and over again, like how you do with all his other videos 💕
Love you always, Mom. We miss you more than words can say, and I’ll see you soon 💕
I wish you could see me now. I wish you could see how far I’ve come and the things I’ve accomplished. There are so many moments I want to turn and tell you everything. I miss you more than words can express. I hope you know how deeply loved and remembered you are - you will never be forgotten.
