Life story

If you've stumbled across this bench it's fair to say that you've just stumbled across a young man who gave nothing but unconditional love.

Jobie was not just an extraordinary young man. He was the centre of the universe to so many people. The heartbeat of his family, the lifeline to his friends, the smile and laughter of everybody he met and the life and soul of every party.

Jobie lived his life with unwavering optimism, outstanding courage and profound generosity. Making sure that every single day he lived. But he lived in a way that so many people can only dream about. He knew only love, only kindness, only compassion.

It's been said, that people come into our lives for a reason. Bringing something we must learn and we are led, to those, who help us most to grow. So much of us, is made of what we learned from you. You'll be with us like a handprint on our hearts. And now whatever way our stories end, we know you have rewritten ours by being our friend.

A light has gone out of our lives but your love and memories will shine on forever.

Please leave a message on the tributes tab if you've got this far. We would love too know how many people have visited Jobie's peaceful space 🤍

728 Days Missing You

It’s been 728 days missing you, visiting your home and talking about you. 728 days thinking of you some way or another, every single day. I shared a holiday with your mum last year Jobe. We felt like you were there with us, it was incredible. Perfect blue skies and swallows singing to us every morning. Dancing about the sky. I do still feel like you give us signs. Your mum speaks to you every day. I hope you can see how strong she’s being for you. From time to time, it feels like you’re still with us. Just away and we’re painfully waiting for your return. Our hearts ache for you. Never did I think this would be reality. We have missed you for 728 days now, I’ll miss you for 728 days more until forever. I hope that we someday meet again.
