Happy heavenly birthday

A letter for you sweet Lou on your birthday. You touched the hearts of every person you came in contact with. Taken from us too soon will leave our hearts forever scarred. But we can all smile as we think back on the lasting memories, warm embraces, and your gentle smile. You made a lasting impression on this world that most of us will only dream to make. We are all better people just from knowing you. “Our legacy is really the lives we touch, the inspiration we give, altering someone’s plan - even if just for a moment - and getting them to think, cry, laugh, argue. More than anything, we are remembered by our smiles; the ones we share with our closest and dearest, and the ones we bestow on a total stranger, who needed it right then, and God put YOU there to deliver”

UNITED 4 LIFE

I often find myself thinking of Lu and feel blessed that he visits me in those times. I was even pleasantly surprised when he visited me in my Dreams shortly after he passed. He expressed how sorry he was that he left us in body but said he will always be with us in our hearts. He was deep like that. Even when we first meet at 13 he acted older and wiser than his age. He was a Protector, an Athlete, a Scholar, a Son, a brother, a Father, a Friend, a Lover, a Dancer, a Comic. Man did we have some good laughs! Some tears in the eyes can’t catch your breath laughs. Like when we were getting our UNITED brands and Jamie’s turn didn’t go so smoothly. Damn we were rolling on the ground in laughter except Jamie of course but yeah we got into a lot of SHIT. To many stories to count. Man I wish I could give you ONE LAST HUG BROTHER. UNITED FOR EVER. Happy birthday LU

Dear Louie

Dear Louie, We had talked alot about life and your dreams and about good times and bad times... But to this day, I still say I wish we had one more talk... I will start by saying one of my favorite moments with Louie was the first time he came over and introduced himslef to us... My wife Sandra already knew him... as he was already a friend of the family... But it was the first time for me... We sat in the living room and he just starting telling me who he was and how much he loves our daughter and Jayden.. And was so open about his past... At that moment I realized this is a real guy I didn't have to spend 1 minute trying to figure him out... I told him I don't care about your past, what's important is the now... So he won me over in the first 20 minutes... And the entire family fell in love with him... Then Baby Louie came into our lives and his love for his son was incredible and Baby Louie loved being with his daddy.. And also his love and concern for his daughter was so obvious that his love for her was undeniable… So in closing we Jessica's, mom, dad, sisters, Jayden, Baby Louie and my mom miss him so much ... and so wish we had way more time with him… Louie you will always have a place in our hearts, and you will forever be a part of our family.. love you and miss you Louie... The Gonzales Family…

My little big brother LOUIE

The only girl growing up with four brothers ……..So many protectors growing up I used to hate it uh!!!!! I miss you, brother. A brother is a friend given by fate to us. My dear brother, Happy Birthday! Brother, I think about you daily. I miss you more with each passing day. I wish you were here to enjoy this day with us. I miss you every day, and I can't wait to be able to see you again. I love you, brother! I miss you—more than you know. You were the best brother anyone could have asked for. I hope in death, you have found the love and happiness that you truly deserve. I miss you terribly. Since you passed away, it doesn't seem real. You are in my thoughts every day and always in my heart. I will remember you forever. On this day, I just want you to know how much I love you and am thankful for our time together, knowing we will be together again one day soothes my heart. May your love and spirit always live on and continue to guide us. In our hearts, forever, you will remain. You're my hero forever and no one will ever take your place…….

Big Louie

I would like to begin by saying, that I am grateful, for having known Louie and that he became a member of our family. He was such a pleasure to be around with, he had a great personality, a good sense of humor and had a heart of gold. His smile could brighten up any room as he walked in. He was a loving, caring and sentimental man, he would give up his shirt he was wearing if he had for anyone in need. I know how much he loved my niece Jessica and his kids so very much. I have to say that I admired and respected him for loving my little nephew Jayden as if he was his own, he even had a tattoo with his name. That brought me to tears when I saw his tattoo. My sons Angel and Sergio also got along with him and loved hanging out with him when we had family gatherings. On one occasion at Gramma Shorty's (my Mom) house, after eating, he went out to smoke a cigarette and asked me if I would go outside with him because he wanted to tell me something. Well as we were outside he got all choked up and told me if if was ok to call me Nina, as Jessica would call me, and ok to call my Mom Gramma Shorty as everyone else in the family did. I looked at him and told him, is this what you've been wanting to tell me? I gave him a big hug and a peck on his cheek and told him that was a pleasure for him to call us that, and that he is truly loved by us. I know he touched many hearts as he did mine, my only regret is that I don't have any pictures of our good times together. But they are forever imprinted in my mind and heart. Big Louie missing you, you hold a special place in my heart.

Friend

To my little Brother Louie, God must have needed a big Angel. Seems God takes the really big hearted ones, Louie is now looking down on us, still protecting all his loved ones.

To: Sweet Lu From: Esteban, Alana and Ely.

Sweet LU We congregated on Good Friday We acknowledged the passing of Jesus We now are going to be celebrating the life of 2 symbolic men on this day so let’s call it Great Friday One of Luis emphatic qualities was his hard work ethic and expectations He had GRIT! Anything he did, his heart and muscles UNITED to accomplish the goal he had in mind. Whether it was working out, Getting dressed to hit the club or Clean his car and shine those rims, Proving you wrong, He loved a good debate And of course playing football, He almost went Pro! My point being, he put 110% effort into everything and anything he did. Lui came at you with everything he had and it didn’t matter if you were big or small because he did it to bring out the best in you and that’s what true friends do. We don’t hold back. He was that kind of a friend, brother, son, man and father! Another handsome quality of his was that he was an Articulate human being. You could always have a stimulating conversation with Lui He’s was an intellectual He was a conversationalist He was even a rapper (back in the T-bird days) He’d bust a flow and he’d use big smart for syllable words! Haha He did it all He was a renaissance man He could’ve been anything he wanted to because he was a multitalented individual! He was a dedicated athlete for most of his life but most of all to me, he was my brother! I am not here to share with you all of the good times I had with Lui of all of my favorite memories with him bc if I did than we’d be here ages and you’d all be a bit envious. Haha I’m also here on this platform to honor him and tell you how to make him proud! Lui would give you his opinion, his honest opinion and it didn’t matter to him wether you liked it or not, you were going to hear his opinion ( Also, good luck, trying to stop him hahaha) It didn’t matter to him if it upset set you that he shared his thoughts because he had your best interest at heart. He may have been big and tough on the outside but inside he was a big teddy bear that lived to snuggle. He expressed his feeling to those he confided in. Again, that’s what friends, brothers and family do. We look out for each other We have fun We argue We fight At the end of the day we were UNITED He’s watching us from heaven bc He’s an Angel now. Probably the biggest angel heaven has had all year. God probably needed to make an xtra xtra large custom made wings for to fit properly and fly over us because he wouldn’t settle for less. Sweet Lu is watching us and protecting us now but as much as he loved you if you did you wrong he’d call you out even swing on you and let me tell you from experience you don’t want him swinging at you. I leave you with these final thought and task: Lu aspired and was an advocate of health and wellness so, If you want to make him proud don’t raise your glass and drink to him Bow your heads make a promise to him that you’ll live a Healthy life. We love you Lu, Esteban, Alana and Ely.
