Doug Russell Johnson

Doug adored his friends and family and loved spending time outdoors. He had a special, artistic eye for videography and creating beautiful photographs with his drone.

Doug lived for adventure and made life fun with his sweet laugh, contagious smile, and endless endeavor for fun. Doug was a compassionate soul and had a special place in his heart for people who might need a friend or a little pick-me-up. He was never too busy to help someone or go the extra mile if he was needed. His thoughtfulness and attention to detail always made his family feel loved and cared for. We miss Doug the most when we are together as a family, around a campfire, floating the river, decorating gingerbread houses, or playing summer yard games. Doug was so fun to cook for as he always made a big deal out of a delicious homemade meal or dessert. He is truly loved and adored by his nieces and nephews who still share fun memories and mention his name regularly. We are reminded of Doug daily as we see sprinkles of his personality, sweet spirit and gentle soul everywhere around us. ‘Til we meet again, sweet brother, son, uncle and friend 🩷
