José Guillermo Argueta was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
José is the middle brother in a family of three brothers.
José went to elementary school in Guatemala City; Miami, FL; and Oakland, CA. José attended Valley Jr High school in West Valley and Kearns Jr High school. José graduated from Kearns High School in 1992 and went on to serve in the U.S. Army and upon returning home, became a Police Officer with Midvale City Police where he served as a Patrol Officer, SWAT Team Leader, Motor Officer, Homicide Investigator, and Narcotics Investigator when he was assigned to the DEA Metro Narcotics Task Force. José developed cancer in 2005 and his Doctors believed he developed cancer as a result of going into Meth Labs while assigned to the DEA Task Force.
Sadly José passed away on May 25, 2006 at his home in West Jordan. José is survived by his family (parents, brothers, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, and many cousins and uncles) and many friends.
