Josephine Antonia Padilla & Chester Joseph Zaremba
Josephine Antonia Padilla was born in Brooklyn, New York, on August 21, 1909 to parents who had emigrated from Andalucia, Spain. She was the 2nd of 8 children. She was strikingly beautiful, and as a young woman, she loved Flamenco dancing.
Chester Joseph Zaremba was born on April 11, 1912 in Brooklyn, New York, to Polish and Russian parents.
They married on October 23, 1936 in Newark, NJ.
Chester was a loyal and dedicated husband and father who worked as a UPS driver, while Josephine was a stay-at-home mother to their 3 children - Walter, Florentina ("Cookie"), and Chet.
Theirs was a deeply loving, warm, and lasting marriage, until Josephine passed away on January 28, 1969. She was 59.
Chester never remarried.
Fifteen years later, he passed away at the age of 72 on April 21, 1984, when he was reunited with the love of his life.
For those whom they left behind, they are dearly missed.
