In Loving Memory of our Angel

Our Lady Queen of Heaven · Tamarac, FL
Grief starts to become indulgent, and it doesn't serve anyone, and it's painful. But if you transform it into remembrance, then you're magnifying the person you lost and also giving something of that person to other people, so they can experience something of that person. ~Patti Smith
Life story

Rebecca Lynn Levesque, 55, of Tamarac, Florida died unexpectedly at home from cardiac arrest on 9.30.2023. She was born in Wyandotte, Michigan to Sandra R. Pickard and Leroy “Rick” Richter before moving to Florida at the age of seven. As a fun-loving rebellious teenager, her free spirit knew no bounds. She’d hide under the bed to skip school; from sneaking in and out of windows, to coming home early in a cab, Becky was often mischievous in her own way.

As Becky matured into a beautiful, loving mother, her tenacity turned her into a vivacious woman with wanderlust. Her kind heart was as bright as her smile. Becky was also generous, adventurous, comical, witty, brave and strong-willed, but above all, a dedicated wife, loving mother, beautiful daughter and caring friend…always being herself.

Sid Levesque met the love of his life, Becky Christopher in 1997, at the grand opening of Sloppy Joe’s at Beach Place in Fort Lauderdale. While standing in line sloppy drunk to get in, Sid made eye contact with this beautiful blonde woman sitting on a chair talking to some rando guy in a tie. He made a bee line to speak with her, and by the time he reached her the tie guy had left. Sid asked, “Who’s the guy in the tie?” She replied, “He’s nobody, but probably getting me a drink.” *wink wink* Sid proceeded to introduce himself. “Hey now, I’m Sid.” Becky giggled, “Hi Sid, I’m Nancy.” He paused, asking if he could buy her a drink. She laughed and stated “Did you catch what I said?” Realizing she was referencing Sid and Nancy of The Sex Pistols, he knew instantly they were meant to be. Sid ended up being the rando guy buying her drinks as they continued their mischief throughout the night.

Excited to start their new lives together, the two were married at Sheraton Suites, April 17th 1999.

“The night before the day of our wedding, we dreamed that the universe had a party; all the stars were invited, beneath sparkling chandeliers, the planets rejoiced; In all its beautiful, candlelit galaxies, crowded with glass clinking revelers, the cosmos was laughing with lasting love and light.” – Sid and Becky Levesque

She taught her son, Kyle, to be caring and sensitive, but take no B.S. from anyone. Saying his first cuss word in front of her, she just smiled - lighting the world every time she did - and said “you can say bad words in front of me, it’s okay.” She was the coolest mom in the world, every kid in school said so, while also saying “Dude, your mom is hot.”

Becky had a soft spot for her furry friends, treating each and every one like a valuable family member. One day out running after a turning point in her life, a canine officer training a dog approached and asked if she would like to meet David. Who names their dog David? she thought. The family met David the dog, and upon hearing the story of why he was named David, Sid said “His name’s Dude now.” Fifteen years later, the Dude still abides.

Becky and her closest friends were practically inseparable throughout their lives. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! Meeting many friends in her travels, both Spooky and normal, she brought laughter and joy wherever she went. Forever blessings to Selena, Diana, and for her lifelong friends at Medical Billing Solutions, they guided her through difficult and trying times over the years, and Sid, Kyle and Family are forever thankful for their unending kindness, generosity, and support.

Aspiring to be a crime scene forensics investigator, she had a strange attraction to dead things, always down for a photo-op with roadkill. Perhaps that’s why she liked crime shows so much. With wanderlust, she crossed the country to try 20 different Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives; from strange foods like cricket burritos to a drink called Corpse Re-animator, you knew Becky was always down for good food, friendly faces, and fun times.

Becky will always be remembered for her smile and the way she lit up the room. We’ll always imagine hearing her say “It’s too effin’ hot outside!!!” We couldn’t have asked for a more extraordinary and remarkable wife, mother, daughter, and Spooky friend, and everyone will miss Becky every day. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who love and knew her.

Becky was preceded in death by her brother Richard W. Griffin and is survived by her son Kyle Christopher, her husband Sid, her Mom Sandy and her Dad Rick.

May you forever rest in peace, our brightest heavenly light.....I love you forever more...

Year 3 without you

Today marks three years since Beck passed away. Three years. It is strange how that can feel like both a lifetime and only yesterday. So much has changed, yet so much of Beck remains exactly where she left it. In the hearts of her mom, Kyle, her friends, and me, in familiar songs, in certain words, in the memories that arrive unexpectedly, and in the feathers that continue to appear along the way. The feathers have become something truly special. Friends now share their own stories with me when they find one, and Kyle found one recently too. I always smile when that happens. After twenty-eight years together, Beck knew I sometimes needed things spelled out for me. Apparently, one feather was never going to be enough. She must have thought, “Sid still isn’t getting it. Send another one!” I can almost hear her chuckle. I still think about the way she whistled, the sound of her laughter, and the familiar words and little expressions that belonged uniquely to her. Every once in a while, a word like “Looksee” or “Chuckles” finds its way back into my life, and I cannot help but stop and smile. Sometimes a familiar song begins playing at exactly the right moment, and suddenly I am transported back to another time. For a few seconds, the years disappear and a memory comes alive again. There are memories that still bring tears, but there are also so many that make me laugh. Twenty-eight years together, including twenty-six beautiful married years, gave us plenty of stories, inside jokes, adventures, disagreements, ordinary days, and unforgettable moments. Beck had a way of leaving her fingerprints on everything, and I continue to find them in the most unexpected places. Our life together feels like one long time-lapse that I can pause, fast-forward, or slow down whenever I want to revisit one of those one-of-a-kind moments. It is a wonderful gift to have all these recollections, the highs and the lows, the laughter and the tears, waiting whenever I need them and ready to be remembered at whatever pace my heart desires. Life has moved forward, and new memories have been made. I have learned that continuing to live does not mean leaving Beck behind. Moving forward does not erase the past or diminish the love we shared. It simply means carrying that love differently. Grief changes over time, but love does not disappear. It settles into the soul. It becomes part of the art we create, the roads we travel, the stories we tell, and the people we become. Today, I remember Beck with tears, gratitude, laughter, and love. I will listen for the familiar songs, smile at the words that still ring true, and continue watching for feathers along the path. Three years later, so much of you remains. I remember your smile. I still hear your laughter. I recall the sound of your whistle. I carry all the things. Even in sorrow, there is wonder. Even in loss, there is love. And in every breath of this life, I carry you forward. Always remembered. Always loved. Never forgotten.

Happy Heavenly Christmas Baby....

This week brought many reflections of the holidays with Beck. Several weeks ago, Beck’s sisters left me a manila envelope filled with photographs and mementos from her childhood. I finally opened it this week. Inside were quiet treasures I did not expect. Along with the photos were drawings she had made, small and personal, filled with imagination and innocence. As I moved through them, new emotions surfaced. Gentle ones. Sweet ones. Some I had never felt before. These pieces revealed a side of Beck I had not fully known. So pure. So tender. So alive with wonder. I could almost hear her voice again, the excitement, the joy, the way she must have felt while creating them. The emotions came freely, like a long held breath finally released. Perhaps it was necessary. For weeks I had built a wall that felt nearly impossible to penetrate. But these drawings, these simple creations, were magical. They slipped right through the cracks. They opened something I did not know I had locked away. Another thing I ended up doing this week was donating the rest of Beck’s clothes to Women In Distress. Opening the hall closet was unexpectedly intense. The scent of her still lingered in the fabric, and for a moment it felt as if time folded in on itself. That familiar smell brought a rush of emotion I was not prepared for. The emotions lingered longer than I expected. Kyle and I paused there together, letting the moment breathe. We talked about how donating the rest of her clothes felt like the right thing to do, especially during the holidays. There was comfort in knowing her things would continue on, offering warmth and care to someone who truly needs it. It was not easy. Letting go never is. But when it was done, I could feel another quiet weight lift. Not because the love is gone, but because it found another way to move forward. The meditation today reminds me that even in the darkness of grief, it is possible to create light. The darkest nights can still hold moments of connection, comfort, and joy. Light does not erase the darkness, but it exists alongside it. Sometimes it is found in sharing memories. Sometimes in laughter. Sometimes in quiet acts of kindness that ripple outward. As Christmas draws closer, I notice a sense of calm I have not felt in the past two years. The holidays are still off balance, still unfamiliar, but I am learning to embrace that. In doing so, I can see every Christmas Beck and I shared with such clarity. They were magical in every sense. Even in the darkness of my grief, I am learning that it is necessary to create light, and when it appears, to reach for it and hold it gently. ~SG14342 12.20.25

2 year anniversary

My Dearest Beck, Here in our house, silence speaks. It moves through the rooms, heavy and endless, a reminder of the space you once filled. I wander the corridors of memory, sometimes lost in a haze, sometimes seeing with crystal clarity. The fog has lifted in places, yet shadows remain, echoes of you everywhere I turn. Two years have slipped through time’s grasp, and still I cannot comprehend it. I have grown in ways I never imagined, yet in other moments I shrink back, curled into the corners of our home where your laughter used to rest. The quiet presses against me, and I seek refuge in our songs— melodies that carry me to infinity, to the warmth of your presence. You are thought of endlessly, so often it overwhelms me. I ache for the chance to tell you my joys, my little victories, my stumbles, to feel your voice weave through mine. Even now, the connection burns strong, a bond beyond words, beyond time. No language can hold the measure of how much I miss you. I busy my hands, fill my hours, pretend the weight is lighter, yet the truth is this: every breath I take is tied to you. I honor you in all that I do. You live inside me still, and even two years later, I remain wild with love for you, forever missing you, forever yours. ~SG14342 9.30.25

Happy Heavenly Birthday, my love

Happy Heavenly Birthday, my Angel Today, you would have turned 57... ohhh myyyy. I still feel so blessed. We traveled near and far for your birthdays— From the bright lights of Vegas to the quiet beauty of Portland, and everywhere in between. I always loved celebrating your special day— your laughter, your joy, your light. And today, I’ll celebrate you still... But this time, through tears, as I finish your angel feather, a piece of you etched into my skin, a promise that your spirit never drifts far from mine. You are loved beyond time. You are missed beyond measure. And you, my sweet Beck, will always be my greatest adventure. ~SG14342 7.18.25

Where the Feathers Fall

My Sweet Beck, I’ve done so many things in your honor since you’ve been gone — trying to find ways to keep your spirit close, to carry your light with me. But one of the things I find myself missing the most, believe it or not… is your singing. Yes, your singing! 😄 You could never carry a tune — not even if it came with directions — but somehow, that made it even better. The way you’d break into those silly little songs, usually out of nowhere, always cracked me up. You had this stash of goofy quips and jingles saved just for gray days, and even though I teased you about it, those moments were some of the brightest in my life. We used to joke about you auditioning for one of those singing shows, and you genuinely thought you’d win — not for talent, but for pure charm and comedic timing. And honestly? I still think the world would’ve loved you for it. Lately, I’ve been putting my own writings to music. It’s something I never really planned, but it’s helped me stay connected to you — to everything we shared. I’ve written quite a few songs now, but there’s one rock ballad that speaks louder than the rest. It’s raw and real and full of you — of us — and of the feathers you’ve been leaving along the way, reminding me you’re still near. This is my first song made just for you, Beck. For your laughter, your love, and your wonderfully off-key voice that I’d give anything to hear again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m97itV1Fj2I Shine on, always. With all of me, SG14342 April 17th, 2025

Happy Heavenly Anniversary, My Love

April 17th, 1999 — We Embarked on Our Loving Journey Happy heavenly anniversary, my love, April seventeenth, sent from above. In '99, we made our start, Two souls united, one beating heart. We laughed through joy, we cried through pain, Found sunshine dancing in the rain. We built a life, both strong and true, No storm too fierce for me and you. Through twists and turns, we held on tight, You were my peace, my guiding light. We traveled far, from state to state, Each mile a memory we'd create. From city lights to desert skies, With wonder wide in both our eyes. Your voice, your smile, your steady grace — My co-pilot in every place. Now you're flying in skies divine, But love like ours won't dim with time. Though I walk on with half a heart, You’re in each moment, never apart. So here’s to the journey that still goes on, To the love that’s deep and ever strong. Happy anniversary, my forever one — My heart, my home, my setting sun. ~SG14342 4.17.25

A Christmas Tree in Your Honor

A Tree for You On this day of beauty and grace, We adorned a tree in your sacred space. Each branch a memory, each light a prayer, A token of love beyond compare. The stillness held a tender tone, A quiet peace, yet not alone. For nature came to join our song, With wings and whispers, soft yet strong. Cardinals red, a yellow glow, Bluejays perched where the branches grow. Chirps of joy filled the air, A sign, a presence, you were there. The wind embraced, the bells did chime, Marking this moment, frozen in time. A surreal touch, a heavenly cue, Reminding us of all that’s you. We carry on, still finding our way, Doing “good” as we face each day. With hopes that next year, through love and fight, We’ll step toward “great,” guided by your light. Your spirit lingers, pure and true, In every breeze, in skies of blue. Forever cherished, forever near, In every heart, you reappear. ~SG14342 12.22.24

Merry Christmas Year 2

Merry Christmas, My Love Merry Christmas, my dearest, my guiding star, Though you’re no longer here, you’re never far. The holidays feel quieter, fragile, and bare, Yet in every moment, I know you’re there. I see you in lights that twinkle and gleam, In the whispers of winter, in each fleeting dream. Your laughter still echoes in carols I hear, A melody of love that draws you near. I wander through stores, lost in the crowd, Choosing gifts for you, though I can’t speak aloud. My heart aches with longing, a bittersweet pain, For the joy of your presence I can’t feel again. You were my compass, my anchor, my guide, The warmth of my Christmas, my joy amplified. Without you, the season feels quiet and still, Like a snow-covered valley, untouched on the hill. Yet gratitude lingers, so vast and so deep, For memories of love I forever will keep. You taught me the magic in moments we shared, In laughter, in kindness, in showing we cared. So I whisper to heaven, to the stars above: Merry Christmas, my angel, my eternal love. You are my everything, my heart and my soul, Forever and always, you make me whole. ~SG14342 12.21.24

The Day We Laid You to Rest (October 30, 2023)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-RWE2aXj7c&t=201s A solemn day, overwhelming and still, The air was heavy, the world stood still. We gathered in love, hearts full of ache, To celebrate a life no one could replace. Friends from afar, and family near, Filled the room with laughter and tears. Co-workers smiled, their stories told, It felt like a meeting—odd and bold. Yet in that space, where grief took its toll, You filled us with warmth, made broken hearts whole. We laughed, we cried, we shared your light, Every story made the day feel right. Tears could have drowned us, a flood of pain, But the joy you brought washed over like rain. Memories of you—so vibrant, so bright, Carried us through that solemn night. Then to your gravesite, we slowly went, Where love and sorrow intertwined and bent. I spoke your eulogy, words hard to find, How do you capture a soul so kind? The crows called out, like they somehow knew, The world had lost someone rare and true. Flowers bloomed in beauty and despair, A breathtaking scene that hung in the air. Fogged with grief, but clear as day, I remember every step along the way. Inspiration flows, it never ends, You guide me still, my love, my friend. I’ll cherish the big moments and the small, For in my heart, you remain through it all. Rest in peace, my love, my light, I hold you close in day and night. ~SG143 10.3024

4 Seasons / Year 1

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBDH3VlXC3w It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that a year has passed since you left us. In so many ways, it feels like just yesterday, and in others, an eternity. I'd like to say we're doing great, but that wouldn't be honest. Instead, I'd say we're doing "good"—not excellent, not perfect, but good. It’s a step forward, and I think you’d understand that. We're learning, day by day, how to navigate this heavy loss, but it’s not easy. The world isn’t the same without you here; there’s a void that nothing and no one can ever truly fill. Yet, even in your absence, I feel you. Your echoes are all around me—so vivid that it’s almost as if you’re still here. Sometimes, it’s a song, a scent, or just the way the light falls, and for a moment, I forget you’re gone. I feel your guidance, your presence, and your love, and it brings me comfort in ways I can't quite describe. Please, continue to watch over us, as we stumble, as we grieve, and as we try to make sense of this path we’ve been put on. As I look toward another year, I hope to keep growing, to keep reflecting, and to keep healing this heart of mine that still beats for you. I know you’d want me to keep moving forward, to keep finding beauty in life, even on the hardest days. Thank you, my love, for the 26 amazing years we shared. I’m so grateful for every moment we had together, every memory, every laugh, and every tear. I just wish we could have had more time. But until we meet again, I promise to carry your love with me, to honor you in all that I do, and to keep living a life that reflects the beautiful soul you are. With all my love, now and forever, SG14342

September’s Weight

Here we are, on the cusp of September’s dread, The month that marks your leaving, where memories tread. September 30, a milestone carved in time, One year since you’ve gone, yet your essence remains in rhyme. Today, we greet September as a new beginning, Into four seasons we go, with hearts still mending. We visited you, laid down some of our weight, In the quiet of your presence, where grief and love relate. Our friends across the sea, in Ireland’s embrace, Bridge the gap between here and that sacred place. They saw Flogging Molly, and a song took flight, “If I Ever Leave This World Alive,” became our light. A new mantra, a connection we hold dear, In these heavy milestones, your voice we hear. Guiding us, as the days grow clear, In every step, we know you’re near. We honor you in ways both big and small, In each moment, in every rise and fall. September’s weight is heavy, but we carry it with grace, For love like yours, time cannot erase. We love you forever, in every breath we take, In every whisper of the wind, in each dawn’s break. Guide us still, as we walk this path anew, For in every shadow, we feel the warmth of you. ~SG14342 9.1.24

Mother's Day 2024

On this day, we feel the absence— The mothers who have stepped beyond our world. Yet in the stillness, we sense a presence, Their guidance and wisdom like flags unfurled. Where have they gone, those gentle spirits? What cosmic shores do they now explore? Their love, a legacy we inherit, A nurturing touch at our core. Do they visit us in dreams, perhaps, Or in the soft breeze that caresses our face? Through the laughter of children, or the blooming of saps, In every tender mercy, every trace. Yes, they guide us still, though they've passed on, Their teachings deep in the weave of our souls. From first breath to last, their influence drawn In every goal reached and bell that tolls. They planted seeds of knowledge and care, Watered with love, grown strong and true. Their essence lingers in the air, In everything, in all we do. So on this day, as we remember, Let's celebrate their everlasting gift. Their presence a constant ember, In our hearts, they forever lift. Dedicated to Sandy Becky and Kyle Christopher 5.12.24

Happy Heavenly 25th Anniversary

Dear Becky, Today has been a whirlwind of emotions, each moment steeped in remembrance and deep reflection. As I searched for the perfect bouquet to honor you this morning, our wedding song started playing unexpectedly—it was just like that day in 2016, during our anniversary vacation in Estes Park with Chris and Tiff, when it began to play as we were enjoying lunch. It caught me off guard then and did again today, a sweet echo of our shared moments. I had the honor of unveiling your tombstone portrait today. The sun was shining perfectly, making it look almost magical with the shadows and reflections cast by the dance of the tree above. It’s a beautiful tribute to you, my love, and it felt like you were right there with us, basking in the beauty. In remembrance, I also planted three plants in your honor—a Love Rose and two hibiscuses, one red and one yellow. These are much like the ones we planted together when we first bought our house, symbols of our growing life together, now continuing to bloom in your memory. They say time heals all wounds, but as our wedding anniversary nears, the pain feels more present than ever, more raw. Time often eludes me, blurring into a haze where moments spent with you replay in my heart. Grief is like work; it's a form that can't be ignored, heavy and demanding. At dusk, it transforms, feeling like a two-ton weight—perhaps it's love, or perhaps it's the essence of your presence still so strongly felt around me. It's an unknown, an all-encompassing range of emotions that remains mysterious to me. I am determined to continue on this path of honor and loving remembrance, hoping that as time passes, the weight of this grief might lighten. With two seasons ahead, I hold onto the hope that I am still on the right path, navigating this beautifully unknown journey that you've left in your wake. With all my love, forever and always, SG143 4.17.24

6 months later

My Beloved Friends and Family, Today marks six months since the universe chose to take my beautiful wife, Becky, away from us, guiding her gently to the other side. This week has been a profound journey back in time, a voyage that has resurrected moments of pure joy and love, moments that I had safeguarded in the deepest recesses of my heart, meant only for me. The act of revisiting these memories has been both a sanctuary and a storm, bringing a sense of closeness with Becky, yet leaving an ache in my soul that words can scarcely describe. September 30th, 2023, began as any other Saturday, filled with the lightness of our laughter and the warmth of our shared smiles. Our morning ritual, checking our sleep number bed to gauge the night's rest, revealed just an average night's sleep. But in truth, every moment with Becky was beyond average—it was extraordinary. We shared breakfast, our conversation fluttering from plans for movie night to the kind of snacks we'd indulge in, a testament to the comfortable, beautiful life we had built together. At one point, we pondered whether to go grocery shopping, but in our typical, laid-back manner, we agreed, "We can do that tomorrow." There were projects around the house calling our names—Becky had her heart set on decluttering the bedroom, while I was determined to tackle the wilds of our landscaping. A kiss, a shared smile, and we were off on our separate quests. By noon, the day's heat drove me indoors for a brief respite. I sought Becky out, finding her immersed in her mission of organization. It was then, in a pause filled with love and shared history, that she discovered an envelope of our wedding photos. Pouring over these images, we were engulfed in laughter, embracing each other in a moment so pure and full of love, it felt as if time itself had paused in reverence. This moment, unbeknownst to us, would become our last shared memory, a precious snapshot of what was and what could have been. I won't detail the events that followed, but by 3:00 p.m., my entire world had shattered, leaving me to navigate a reality I could never have imagined—one without Becky by my side. This journey of grief is indescribable, a path marked by moments of profound sorrow and unexpected joy as I remember the incredible person Becky was. Her spirit, her laughter, and her boundless love continue to light my way, even in the darkest of times. Becky was more than my wife; she was my best friend, my partner in every sense, and the person who understood me like no other. In remembering Becky on this six-month anniversary, I find solace in knowing that she touched so many lives, leaving a legacy of love and kindness that will forever resonate. To all of you who have shared in our journey, offered support, and held me up when I thought I could stand no longer, I offer my deepest gratitude. Becky's love was a gift, one that continues to guide and inspire me. As we celebrate her life and the memories we hold dear, let us remember the joy she brought into this world and the love she shared with each of us. May we carry her spirit in our hearts, living each day with the same compassion and zest for life that she embodied. With all my love and deepest gratitude,

Love's Elegy: Eternal Echoes

In the quiet of our home where love's echo lies, I pen this verse for Beck, under the vast skies. In my heart, a turmoil, a storm of grief and peace, A delicate balance, seeking a gentle release. With every sunrise, I face the heavy toll, Yet, in sorrow's grip, I find a soothing soul. The path forward, steady, though not yet complete, In every breath, your essence, subtly sweet. Our home, a sanctuary built with love's tender might, Now holds the whispers of our shared delight. The laughter and tears, in these walls, they blend, A beautiful agony, on which I depend. Time, relentless, marches on, leaving me behind, Yet in its shadows, your presence I find. An absence so profound, it colors my days, In the simplest moments, in countless ways. Lonely and sad, in the depths of night, I reach for you, missing our shared light. But in the pain, a glimmer of you I see, In everything, everywhere, you're with me. So, to Beck, my love, this tribute I send, A love that bends, breaks, but will never end. Through grief, through sorrow, in peace, I wade, Forever searching, in the love we made.

Celebrating Love and Loss

My Dearest Beck, Today, as I mark another year since the day we met and got engaged a year later, I find myself enveloped in a blend of joyous memories and poignant reflections. You always chuckled, wondering why I celebrated this day with such fervor. But for me, this day is more than just a date on the calendar; it's a reminder of the moment my life found its true north. Before meeting you, my life was a tumultuous sea. I was reeling from the aftermath of a toxic relationship and struggling with the crushing weight of bankruptcy. My world was bleak and directionless. Then, like a lighthouse guiding a lost ship, you appeared, and everything changed. That night we met holds a sacred place in my heart. It was not just an evening of laughter and shared glances but the beginning of a profound and beautiful journey. Driving you home that early morning, the air was thick with the promise of new beginnings. And then, with a vulnerability that made you all the more endearing, you shared about Kyle, revealing it was his fifth birthday. In that moment, I knew that accepting you and Kyle was not merely a choice but a privilege. You both became my family, my world. Our life together, though not without its challenges, was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, understanding, and shared dreams. You and Kyle filled my life with a warmth and purpose I had never known. Every day with you was a testament to the power of love and the strength of family. Now, in your absence, this day takes on a deeper significance. It's not just a celebration of our meeting and engagement but a solemn remembrance of the love we shared and the life we built. Though you are no longer here with me, the impact of your love and the memories we created continue to light my path. As I honor this day, I do so with a heart full of love, gratitude, and a touch of sorrow. Our story, though altered by your departure, remains a testament to the transformative power of love. You, Becky, were the best thing that ever happened to me, a blessing I will cherish forever. So today, I celebrate not just our meeting but the enduring legacy of the love we shared. You and Kyle reshaped my world, bringing joy and meaning into my life in ways I never thought possible. Even in your absence, the love we shared continues to guide me, a constant presence in my heart and soul. With this letter, I reaffirm my everlasting love and gratitude for you, Beck. You were my soulmate, my guiding star, and your memory will forever be a source of strength and inspiration. Though our time together was cut short, the love we shared endures, transcending the boundaries of time and space. Thank you for being the light in my darkest times, for showing me the true meaning of love and family, and for leaving me with memories that I will treasure for a lifetime. You will always be a part of me, and I will continue to celebrate this day, our special day, as a testament to the love we shared. Until we meet again my Love, SG143 1.18.24

01.18.98

On this date, the eighteenth of January, year ninety-eight, I pose a question, a future to create. Will you, my dear Becky, take my hand in fate, Accept this proposal, my love, and be my mate? "Will you marry me?" I ask, with hopes so grand, To journey through life's roads, together we'll stand. We'll age from young to old, side by side, In each other's arms, let's enjoy life's ride. A year has flown, since you've been mine, We've shared moments so wondrous, nearly divine. With every day, my love for you has grown, In your presence, true happiness I've known. You've been there for me, a constant, steadfast light, In my darkest hours, a beacon so bright. You've shared in my secrets, my dreams you've known, Together we've reaped the seeds of love we've sown. Becky, you are the woman of my dreams, it's true, Every moment is bliss when I'm with you. I love you more than words can convey, And yearn to make you mine, in every way. So I ask once more, with heart open wide, Will you marry me, be forever by my side? For you are everything I've ever wished for, I love you now and will forevermore.
