Judy was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandparent, aunt and cousin.
Judy Lane Hunt, 59, of 875 Atkinson Road, Fairmont, North Carolina went to her heavenly home on Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Lumberton, North Carolina. Born in Robeson County on April 28, 1961, she was the youngest daughter of the late Mr. Henry Welton Oxendine and the later Mrs. Maggie Lee Burns Oxendine.
She was proceeded in death by both parents, as well as a beloved nephew Raven Earl Sampson.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years Anthony Hunt of Fairmont; a daughter, April Marie Hunt (Durwin) of Rowland; a son, Anthony Lane Hunt (Cierra) of Cumming, GA; three sisters, Geraldine Rose Oxendine of Conway, SC; Jeanette Oxendine Sampson (Ronald) of Lumberton, Lois Faye Oxendine (Jeffery) of Pembroke; three brothers Henry Glenn Oxendine, Winfred Oxendine (Cathy) all of Lumberton; two granddaughters, Isla Rae Hunt and Millie Lane Hunt; and two grandsons, Benji Thomas Hunt and Isaac Hunt and a beloved niece, Kanesia Vonte Oxendine (Stephen) of Cumming, GA.; and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held 2:00pm Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Revels Funeral Home Chapel in Lumberton North Carolina with Rev. Douglas Locklear, Rev. Billy Ray Burns and Rev. Jeffrey Hunt officiating. Burial followed in the Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
