Jesse Ray McLaughlin Sr.
November 5, 1965 — March 17, 2023

Jesse Ray McLaughlin Sr., age 57, of Wyalusing, PA, passed away early Friday morning, March 17, 2023, at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA, with his loving family at his side.

Jesse was born in Trenton, NJ, on November 5, 1965, a son of the late Carl Glenn and Frances Eddings McLaughlin. Jesse grew up in the Red Cedar section of Levittown, PA, with his eight siblings. He attended Bristol Township Schools. He worked as a truck driver before starting his own business. He owned and operated J. McLaughlin Chimney Service for 13 years in Willow Grove, PA. He was also known to be quite the handyman. He moved to Wyalusing, PA, in 2016 and worked for Mountain Energy before retiring.

He enjoyed the great outdoors and spending time on his property on Welles Mountain. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and his jeeps. He was one to never miss a good party and also enjoyed having bonfires. However his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers: Kenneth Matthew McLaughlin and Lacy McLaughlin and by his sisters: Eva McLaughlin and Brenda Morey.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 2:15 PM on his beloved McLaughlin family property.
