Brycen Joel Baxter
Little did we know that day, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide. And although we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Brycen Joel Baxter, age 20, of Saraland, Alabama passed away on Wednesday March 6, 2019. Brycen was born July 11, 1998 in Mobile, Alabama.
Brycen graduated from Saraland High School in 2016. Throughout his time in high school, he was a student athlete on the baseball team, playing as a left handed pitcher and left fielder. He proudly wore the number 15. He attended Georgia Highlands College, in Rome Georgia, for a semester before deciding to return home to work full time. Shortly before his passing, he found fulfillment in his career at Borel Industries. Unfortunately, he passed away before his time, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and his witty sense of humor to inspire those who worked alongside him.
Brycen passed away way to soon, leaving behind his precious 3-year-old daguhter, Brylynn Nichole. She is the spitting image of him, with his big brown eyes and infectious smile. As I watch her grow, I see glimpses of him in her every day.
He lived his life to the fullest like there was no tomorrow, being carefree and giving everything his all. Brycen loved his family more the anything in the world. He adored his parents, brother, daughter, grandparents, and his girlfriend. He strived to love Jesus in his live and portrayed a heart of gold. With a contagious laugh and a special way of being a story teller Brycen would light up the room. His drive proved him to be headstrong and determined which molded a successful young man. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, dad, grandson and friend. Always there to lean on and drop everything to help if you were in need.
Brycen is preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Thomas Frederic Baxter, uncle, Thomas Joel Baxter. Survivors include his parents Michael Frederic and Kimberly Denise Buckalew Baxter, brother Griffin Michael Baxter, daughter Brylynn Nichole Baxter, loving girlfriend Melanie Lens. Maternal grandparents Billy and Carol Buckalew, paternal grandmother Imogene Baxter, great grandmother Hattie Lofton and so many loving relatives and friends.
