Bradley was born July 24, 1957, in Jackson, TN. He is the son of the late Joe Franklin and Tresia Ann (Johnson) Pate. He owned and operated Pate’s Department Store in Rutherford and was a member of the Rutherford Church of Christ.

He is survived by one son, Adam Pate (Amy); four grandchildren, Madi, Maci, Bennett-Bradley, and Sloane Presley Pate; and one brother, Bruce Pate (Lisa). He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Sherry Barber.
