Kevin Eugene Houpt

Kevin Eugene Houpt, 60, of Harrisburg, passed away on April 9, 2025, after a long battle against End Stage Kidney Failure. Kevin was born on March 15, 1965, in Chambersburg to the late Garnet and Betty (Reed) Houpt. Kevin graduated from Chambersburg High School and Vale Tech School. He was employed at L B Smith Ford Lincoln for over 30 years as a Service Technician and Service Advisor. He loved cars and his cats.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Darcel Lenker; 2 children, a daughter, Sydney (DJ) Kepner and a son, Cade Houpt; Two Grandchildren, Stella Kepner and Dallin Kepner; two sisters, Jean (Herb) Reilly and Susan DeShong.

He had love for Life and will forever be missed, he was always known for a quick laugh or a supportive shoulder.
