4 years today, if you would have ever told me that this was how things would go, I’d never believe it. What a nightmare, you not being here to see the boys grow older. Questioning God is something we’re taught to never do, but some things just won’t ever make sense, or sit well. Your passing is one of them. Just know that I’ll forever keep your name alive in the hearts and minds of our 3. It hasn’t been easy for them, but with you being their angel above, they walk everyday with a head held high. Thank you for your protection, continue resting Jaquan. Your life was cut way too short, but your love and legacy lives loudly out here. 🕊️
remembering JaquanThank you Ashley

A letter to our angel.
Today marks four years you left us, cousin I sure wish you could see the family now. Oh my goodness you would be so proud of the girls and your mom! They are doing what you always did for us and that’s to take care of others. Making sure people have a voice and protection and assistance. Quan you were my big cousin, our cousin, one of the comedians like most of us. I pray always for justice for you, however I know you have peace that surpasses understanding. Continue to be an Angel for your mom and boys, bring them the good times, the wisdom, and the love.
All I can say and think is one word “kindness” he was and remains one of the sweetest and kindest young man I knew. Always smiling everytime I had the pleasure to be in his company, That radiant beautiful smile will forever be what I remember.
