Lucas James Bivins
Always Loved, Never Forgotten, FOREVER Missed!
All about Lucas James Bivins.
At 20 weeks we was told he had a condition that he wouldn't be able to live with. Annacephaly! It was devastating to hear. We decided that only God could decide how long we got with our boy and decided to carry him to 37 weeks. During those 17 weeks we grew more in love with our baby. He loved playing "where'd Lucas go" with daddy. Loved kicking daddy in the face and mocking Daddy with his kicks. He loved everything grape and sour. Once we found grape sour patch kids it was a game changer lol. He had the strongest little kicks I've ever felt. I miss those kicks more then ever. Once he was born he had the best little cry I've ever heard. We spent the next almost 6 hrs listening to little coos and cries. He was surrounded by family and was shown so much love. I'm forever grateful God gave us those 6hrs with Lucas.
After his diagnosis I was very angry. Angry at the world and even more at God. But I come to realize God didn't do this to our son. He didn't do this to us. He never and will never leave our side. He is walking through this grief with us, side by side. Remember God also watched his son die on the cross. Jesus felt abandoned and alone during his time on the tree, but God was in control and never left his side either. The Father is in control now as well. I will forever wish Lucas was here with us but there is a sense of peace knowing he is with Jesus, never feeling the pain this world can cause.
We love you Lucas James Bivins. Forever our baby boy!
